Claire Fitzgerald BA MSc CPsychol

Claire joined YSC in 2004 following a career in consulting and retail. She worked for nine years as an occupational psychologist, initially in consulting and then with Asda Stores Ltd. Having supported managers in Asda through a significant culture change, she went into change management consulting with Big Five and subsequently niche firms, focusing on the people agenda in large-scale change. She enjoyed most supporting leaders of change in developing and sharing their vision, and in supporting their teams through the change.

She is a practising gestalt psychotherapist and in her coaching work is particularly interested in helping clients to increase their awareness of how they limit their own potential and hang onto outdated modes of operating. She combines the development of insight with practical techniques for increasing personal effectiveness and managing difficult situations. She combines warmth and support with challenge and feedback. Her coaching clients have included senior managers at Fujitsu, Royal Bank of Scotland, Comet and Time Warner.

Claire lives in the West Midlands with her partner and young son.
