David Backinsell MA

David spent 15 years with Ford Europe where, ultimately, he was responsible for overseas business development. He then spent 10 years working in the IT and media sectors before establishing a consulting business that advises retail organisations across Europe on customer service delivery performance, processes and training.

David has practiced as a business coach for eight years and brings to his work both multi-national and multi-cultural management experience, gained while working in the UK, Germany, the USA and South America. He has substantial experience in business start-up and turnaround situations through working with venture capital funds.

He holds a Diploma in Marketing, an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching & Mentoring and a Master Coaching Certificate. He is a member of the Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. David is committed to continuing professional development and is co-founder a co-coaching group based in London.

Voluntary coaching has provided David with experience working with the under-privileged and minority groups.
