Gurnek Bains DPhil.

Gurnek is CEO of YSC and has worked with senior leaders in business for over sixteen years. Prior to helping set up YSC, he worked for the American consulting company RHR.

Gurnek has extensive experience of evaluating senior business leaders and helping them with their development. He has also been heavily involved in developing YSC's intellectual capital with respect to coaching and management development. He is currently coaching a number of CEOs, as well as a range of senior executives. He manages a number of YSC's key clients, which include over 25% of the FTSE 100 companies in the UK and has extensive experience of assessing and working with senior executives internationally. He is also the editor of Meaning Inc. (Profile Books 2007), YSC's blueprint for the creation of meaning at work. He has a particular interest in coaching Chief Executives and in finding ways of harnessing their spike abilities to establish their leadership imprint.

Married with two children, Gurnek has a strong interest in spread betting (on anything) and in creative photography.
