Karin Sode BA PhD

Karin is a senior consultant in YSC and joined the organisation in 2005. She has a keen interest in 1:1 developmental work and coaching at different levels within organisations, including members of executive teams.

Prior to joining YSC, Karin led a leadership development consultancy unit, based within the University of Edinburgh. Her key area of expertise was decision making processes at board level, and she offered coaching and facilitation to individuals and teams within the UK and Scandinavia.

Her clients include blue chip clients within a range of industry sectors, and she has coached at senior and executives board levels. Clients generally recognise her style as emphatic and gentle, yet challenging and with edge. She uses a variety of tools in her coaching, including cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive analytical therapy and NLP to help individuals realise their full potential.

Outside work, her two young daughters take up most of her time, and she loves exploring the outdoors with them. Beyond that, when time allows, she enjoys literature, films and the theatre.
