Ken Rowe DPhil MPhil BSc

Ken is Managing Director of YSC and has worked in diverse organisations with senior leaders in business for over 16 years. His early career, prior to helping set up YSC, included a period as a clinical psychologist followed by experience in working for a leading US consulting company.

Ken has worked at senior levels in a wide range of businesses, both with the UK and internationally. He has particular interest in the psychology of potential and has led YSC's research and practice in this area. In his consulting work this has been associated with advising senior executives on the issues involved in optimising their own capability to realise potential. He is contributing to YSC's forthcoming book on the creation of meaning at work.

Ken has a strong interest in understanding the transitions facing senior leaders, combined with an ability to help them develop an understanding of the qualities that have allowed them to be successful to date and how these need to shift. He has great ability to establish rapport and trust and a genuine interest in helping individuals grow through insight and to understand how to optimise their inherent strengths. He has a warm, engaging but challenging personal style and a strong interest in the psychology of potential and the qualities associated with success.

Married with two children, Ken has a strong interest in contemporary art and has been involved in an advisory capacity with public art galleries on issues of management.
