Rachel Robinson BSc MSc MCIPD

Rachel is a Director of YSC. In her 14 years working with leaders of organizations, Rachel has worked with businesses in the retail, FMCG, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, travel and food industries amongst others. Much of her work has involved the identification and development of high potential individuals.

Rachel started her career with Pilkington plc as a graduate trainee and progressed to be head of Personnel for one of their businesses. She then joined Glaxo and performed a variety of leadership and organization development roles. Rachel was heavily involved in the development of coaching capability within Glaxo and acted as the "coach's coach." Rachel's final role with Glaxo before joining YSC in 1999 was to lead the Operational HR function for the commercial arm of GlaxoWellcome in the UK. She is particularly interested in coaching people through key transitions in their career such as joining a new organization or being promoted.

Outside work, Rachel has an interest in modern architecture, cinema and trying out London's new restaurants. She runs regularly and plays tennis to ensure that her love of food doesn't result in an expanding waistline.
