Steve Husband PhD
Steve has over twenty years of experience in areas including leadership development and transition leadership coaching; assessment and selection; development centers; 360° feedback; and organizational surveys. Before joining YSC Steve ran his own consulting practice, and prior to that was a senior consultant with Mercer Human Resource Consulting and a consultant at RHR International.
Steve has worked with senior executives, human resources professionals, and middle managers to conduct executive coaching, assessment, and 360° feedback projects for the selection and development of leadership talent. He has a particular interest in transition coaching, a specialized, time-limited intervention designed to coach and advise executives through the often-tricky initial months in a new position, whether they have been promoted internally or hired from outside the organization.
Clients with whom Steve has worked range from small businesses to global organizations. He has worked in a variety of sectors that includes pharmaceuticals, retail, financial services, energy, manufacturing, technology, chemicals, communications, and real estate.
A licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, USA, Steve was honored in 1996 with the Alumnus of the Year Award from his alma mater, Hahnemann University.
